Alicia Maria Alers has been an associate with Krohn & Moss, Ltd. since 2009. Her primary practice areas include consumer protection and breach of warranty litigation.
Ms. Alers received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of Central Florida in 2004. While in college, Ms. Alers participated in a “study abroad” program and lived in Madrid, Spain. She received her Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Stetson University in 2007.
Prior to joining Krohn & Moss, Ltd., Ms. Alers practiced as a trial attorney in the area of criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade County. Ms. Alers was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007.
Ms. Alers has lived in South Florida for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Leadership Miami and former Young Lawyer Board Member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Miami Section. Ms. Alers was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico and is proficient in Spanish.
